Peggy C Williams, 85, passed away on April 9, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital.
Peggy was born on April 10, 1934 in Lancaster, KY, the daughter of Ebbie and Ethel Lawson. She graduated from Lancaster High School. She was a loving wife to her husband, Charles Williams, for 55 years, whom she married on November 27, 1963.
Peggy retired from Arvin after 32 years of service. In her spare time, she was an avid bowler in Columbus for several years and she loved animals. Peggy was an active member of the Free Methodist Church for 23 years.
Peggy is survived by her husband; sisters-in-law, Betty Williams, Charlotte Middendorf, and Patty Jones; and several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog Pixie.
She was preceeded in death by her parents and her brothers, Curtis, Calvin, James, Cecil, and Ebbie Lawson.
A funeral service for Peggy will be held on Monday, April 15, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Myers-Reed Chapel with Pastor Paul Castle officiating. Burial will follow at Garland Brook Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 14, 2019 at 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial donations in Peggy's name may be made to the Columbus Animal Shelter or the Free Methodist Church.
Myers-Reed Chapel is serving the Williams family.
