

Born October 30, 1938, in Columbus, he was the son of William E. and Martha F. Fawcett Perry. He married Doris Thompson May 24, 1957, in Jonesville, and she survives.
Bob graduated from Columbus North High School in 1956, was a life member of Moose Lodge No. 398, where he had served as Governor, Administrator and also as Vice President of the District. He was a longtime member of Edinburgh Lodge No. 100 F & AM, the Scottish Rite, Valley of Indianapolis, Murat Shrine and was Past Patron of the Edinburgh Chapter OES.
A Celebration of Life Service for Bob will be held Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl Street, Columbus, with Greg Walters presiding. A Moose Memorial Service will follow. Friends may call from 3 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In keeping with Bob’s wishes, cremation is planned with inurnment in Garland Brook Cemetery.

Bob is survived by his wife, Doris Perry of Columbus; daughter, Nina (Ted) Piatt, Chapel Hill, NC; sons, Bobby L. Perry and Timothy L. Perry, both of Columbus; grandchildren, Nicholas and Alexander Piatt, Brandon, Nikkia, Anna Marie, Robert and Katylyn Perry; great-grandchildren Jaiden Means and Braylyn Fisher; stepgrandchildren, Sean and Abby Rose Duckworth; brothers, Keith (Jackie) Perry, Columbus, and Roger (Brenda) Perry, Shelbyville; and his Faithful Friend, Lucy.
His parents, sisters, Lorene Kay Nielsen and Patricia Weaver, and a great-granddaughter, Kaylee Perry, preceded Robert in death.
