Ruel Parrish "Doodle" Pedigo Jr.

Columbus, IN would like to sadly announce the passing of his life on May 11, 2012.

Mr. Pedigo was born in Glasgow, KY on August 26th, 1939. He was the son of Ruel Parrish Pedigo, Sr. and Lois Eaton Pedigo.

Ruel was the retired business owner of Pedigo Carpet Service.

He is survived by his wife Charlotte White Pedigo of 45 years, Columbus whom he married 12-31-68 in Taylorsville, IN. Also surviving are his children; Kathy Wilson (Elbie) of Leitchfield, Kentucky, Lorrie Stevens (Allen) of Indianapolis, Tina Wilson ( Lee) of Columbus, Tonya Pedigo of Columbus, Kim Pedigo Denney ( Kenny) of Columbus, Keisha Smith (Johnny) of Zionsville, Robert Pedigo (Debbie) of North Vernon, James Pedigo of Columbus, Ruel Pedigo, III ( Rhonda) of Columbus. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and one expected in September; 11 great grandchildren; Sandra Cilyok, Elizabethtown, KY and Anna Mae Combs (Russell), Bowling Green, KY; a brother, Larry Pedigo (Wanda), FL. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother William “Frog” Pedigo and daughter Debby.

A funeral service will be held at Revival Full Gospel Tabernacle in Clifford, IN at 3:00 p. m. Monday with the Rev. Eli Johnson officiating. In keeping with Ruel’s wishes, cremation is planned. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 3:00 at the church. Hathaway-Myers Chapel, 1022 pearl St., Columbus is in charge of arrangements. There will be dinner served after service at the church.
