A patrolman for Hope Police Department, he was a 1997 graduate of Columbus East High School, was a member of First Christian Church and loved fishing and golf.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street with Al White officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Born in Huntington Jan. 16, 1979, Mr. Wagner was the son of Urban H. and Camille Vance Wagner.
He is survived by his parents; a daughter, Maggie Wagner of Columbus; a sister, Jennifer Wagner-Spice of Indianapolis; a nephew, Teagan Spice of Indianapolis; uncles, Herman (Agnes) Wagner of Greensburg, Charles (Irene) Wagner and Alvin (Ellen) Wagner of Columbus, Samuel Wagner of North Vernon, Daniel (Ruth) Wagner of Greenwood and James Vance of Plainfield; and aunts, Amelia Carter and Eleanor Rolf of Indianapolis, Gail Waltz of North Vernon and Kay (Grover) Prather of Versailles.
