Sherry was born May 11, 1943 in Knox County to Robert and Frances Clark. She graduated in 1961 from Lincoln High School in Vincennes.
Sherry spent her life taking care of others in the nursing field, working with those affected by domestic violence and special needs. She enjoyed her artwork, spending time with family, watching Animal Planet and talking on the phone.
Survivors include her sister Patsy; children, Dana (John) Dougherty, Tony (Monica) Slater, Michelle (Andy) Krueger, and Mike (Kelli) Giles; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and her best friend Chloe.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
In keeping with Sherry’s wishes cremation is planned with a private memorial at a later date.
