Sue Ann Beever Dix, 69, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Four Seasons Healthcare. Sue was born August 14, 1952 in Mount Vernon, Ohio to parents Alan B. And Betty Beever. She married Michael Dix on February 14, 1970. In the early years of their marriage they enjoyed riding motorcycles and traveling, especially to the beach in Florida. In 1978, they had their son, Paul. Sue had many talents and interests throughout her life and there weren’t many things she couldn't do. She worked in real estate, and worked as a veterinarian assistant, and even served as athletic director at Jefferson Elementary School where her son was attending. She loved animals, especially her dogs, and she enjoyed being in nature. Above everything else, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Sue is survived by her husband of 52 years, Michael; her son, Paul (Kae) Dix; her grandchildren, Haruki and Andy Dix; her brothers, Bill (Phyllis) Beever, and Jim Beever; and sister-in-laws, Jackie (Rusell) Thackery and Patty Wessel. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Tom Beever; and her granddaughter, Alex Dix. A celebration of life to honor Sue will be held Friday, May 6 at 6 pm at Myers-Reed Chapel. Friends may gather for visitation from 4 pm to 6 pm prior to the service. Memorial donations in her name may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
