She was born April 17, 1947 in Indianapolis, Indiana the daughter of William and Leola Ziegler Compton.
Susan is survived by, children, Cathy (Chuck) Klasek of Norman, Okla., Sharon (Keith) Persley of Hartsville, Patricia (Brent) Elliott of Nashville, Tenn., Christina (Jason) Garrison of Evansville, IN, Annie (Jeffrey) Engleking of Seymour; brothers, Anthony (Kathy) Compton of Elizabethtown, IN, Terry Compton of Columbus, Billy (Paula) Compton of Columbus, Eddie (Joanne) Compton of Newalla, Okla.; sister, Judy Mitz of Columbus; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Friday Myers~Reed Chapel on 25th Street with Brent Elliott officiating. Calling 5~7 p.m. Thursday. Burial in Garland Brook Cemetery.
