Yvonne C. Carson

She was born February 10, 1937 in Scipio, the daughter of Harold and Grace Wilkerson Helt. She married Robert C. Carson July 1, 1955 at the Scipio Presbyterian Church. He preceded her in death July 31, 2010.

Mrs. Carson is survived by sons, Bill (Dana) Carson of Columbus and Chuck (Margaret) Carson of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Linda (Pat) Ross of Elizabethtown; grandchildren, Julia Carson of Columbus, Michelle (Justin) Colglazier of Elizabethtown, Dianna (Tyler) Davitto of Indianapolis, Karla Carson of Scipio, Brandy (Rob) Patterson of Greenwood, Patricia Ross of Lowell, Mass, Jody Ross of Deputy; 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a granddaughter, Abigail Carson.

She was a member of Scipio Presbyterian Church and former member of the Presbyterian Session. She was a member and past president of Geneva Township Homemakers Club. She worked for Cummins Engine Company from 1968 to 2002 retiring as a team leader.

Funeral service 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Hathaway~Myers Chapel on Pearl Street. The Rev Debra McKune will officiate. Calling Friday 4 to 8 p.m. and from 12:30 Saturday until time of service. Entombment will be in Garland Brook Mausoleum.
