Abel was born on January 15, 1981 in Los Angeles, California to Jose Valdivia and Yolanda Rodriguez. Abel grew up and spent most of his childhood in Mexico before moving to Texas. He loved traveling, and would often travel and visit family and friends still in Mexico. Abel was hardworking, loving, caring and fun. He would give his last dollar to anyone in need. He loved singing to his family and friends too. His voice will be deeply missed. Abel was a devoted father, a loving son and brother.
Abel is preceded in death by his father, Jose Luis Valdivia; his grandfather, Jesús Delgado; and his brother, Junior Rodriguez.
Abel is survived by children, Eric, Abel and Marco; his mother, Yolanda Rodriguez; his siblings, Cruz Valdivia, Azucena Rodriguez and Omar Rodriguez; his nephew, Jayden Rodriguez-Franklin; his nieces, Alexa Rodriguez-Guarduño and Briana Rodriguez-Guarduño; and several aunt, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Cremation services were entrusted to Advantage by Schoedinger North.
