Alan L. Link

Alan Louis Link, age 60, passed away at his home on Sunday, April 11, 2010. He was born in Norwalk, Ohio, on July 10, 1949, and worked as a construction engineer. Alan loved spending time with his grandchildren, and he enjoyed NASCAR and watching car auctions. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Alan was preceded in death by his father, Charles Link. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Patricia Link; mother, Mary Blinzley Link; children, James (Stefanie) Link, Kimberly (Cary) Benedict, Kristi (Jeremy) Brown, and Amanda (Justin) Hahn; grandchildren, Ryan and Evan Link, Loren, Taylor and McKenzie Benedict, Elizabeth and Madison Brown, and Emma Hahn; sisters, Terry (Rick) Back, Cathy (Dan) Phillips, Penny (Dennis) Gearino, and Patty (Jeff) Coe; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Brenda and Paul Fayad. Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14, at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Christ the King Catholic Church, 2777 E. Livingston Ave. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
