Alcides “Antonio” Vasquez Quintero

Antonio was 26 years old when he passed away as the result of an automobile accident on May 4, 2014.

Born February 15, 1988 in Honduras, Antonio grew up in Nicaragua, until moving to Springfield, Ohio in 1999.

He attended Northridge Middle School, Kenton Ridge High School and graduated from Springfield High School.

Antonio was a respected and valued employee at El Vaquero Restaurant in Grove City.

He leaves behind a family that loved and will always love him, and friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.

Antonio is survived by his dad Ramon Alcides Vasquez; mom Angelita Quintero Llanes; 2nd mom Leslie Vasquez, and his dad’s fiancée Claudia Cerchiara.

He was the loving brother of Nestor Quintero (deceased); Wilmer Quintero, Cynthia Quintero, Christopher Vasquez, Maria (Nathaniel) Silver, Grace Vasquez, Josué Vasquez.

He is also survived by grandfather, Lester Jipp and nephews Isaiah and Daniel Silver.

Antonio will be missed; he was bigger than life, always smiling, laughing, loving, caring, generous, hard worker, great friend.

He will always put others needs before his; he helped his Mom and siblings in Nicaragua to build their homes, he will prepare lunch for his dad when he was coming home from work, he helped his mom Leslie to do the dishes after having dinner with her and his little brother Josue, he helped his grand father Lester with different projects around the house; always ready to help his family here in Columbus and in Nicaragua.

Antonio not only was known for taking pride of his personal grooming, loved clothes and shoes; he was also an ironing fanatic!! He also liked for everything in his home to be neat and very clean.

Visitation and the funeral will be on Monday, May 12th at Christian Community Church North, located at: 5586 Olentangy River Road; Columbus, OH 43235

Visitation is from 3-5 pm and the Service will follow at 7 pm with Pastor Duane Fleming officiating

Antonio tenía 26 años cuando falleció en un accidente de auto, el 4 de Mayo, 2014

Nació el 15 de Febrero de 1988 en Honduras, Antonio creció en Nicaragua, hasta que se mudó a Springfield, en Ohio en 1999.

El fue a Northridge Middle School, Kenton Ridge High School y se graduo en Springfield High School.

Antonio fue un empleado muy querido, respetado y valorizado en el Restaurant El Vaquero en Grove City, Ohio.

Antonio deja una familia que lo amo y seguirá amando para siempre, y amigos que sus vidas fueron enriquecidas por haberlo conocido, y estos seres afortunados, podrán atesorar y celebrar los recuerdos compartidos.

A Antonio lo sobreviven su padre Ramón Alcides Vásquez; su madre Angelita Quintero Llanes; segunda madre Leslie Vásquez, y la prometida de su padre Claudia Cerchiara.

Él era el hermano querido de Néstor Quintero (fallecido); Wilmer Quintero, Cynthia Quintero, Christopher Vásquez, María (Nathaniel) Silver, Grace Vásquez, Josué Vásquez.

Y también lo sobreviven su abuelo, Lester Jipp y sobrinos Isaías y Daniel Silver.

Antonio será extrañado muchísimo, su ausencia deja un vacío muy difícil de llenar; siempre sonriente, alegre, cariñoso, atento, generoso, trabajador, un gran amigo.

Él siempre ponía las necesidades de otros antes que las suyas; ayudo a construir las casas de su mama y hermanos en Nicaragua; le preparaba el almuerzo a su padre cuando volvía a casa al mediodía del trabajo; ayudaba a su madre Leslie a lavar los platos después de cenar con ella y su hermano Josué; también lo ayudaba a su abuelo Lester con proyectos en su casa; siempre dispuesto a ayudar a su familia aquí en Columbus y en Nicaragua.

Antonio no sólo era conocido por tener orgullo de su aseo personal, le encantaba la ropa y los zapatos; era también un fanático de la plancha! También le gustaba que en su casa todo estuviera ordenado y muy limpio.

El funeral será el lunes 12 de mayo a la Christian Community Church North, ubicada en: 5586 Olentangy River Road; Columbus, OH 43235

Visitas con los familiares de 3-5 pm y el Servicio seguirá a las 7 de la tarde, con el pastor Duane Fleming oficiando el servicio
