Alexandra Taylor "Alex" Rowe

Alexandra Taylor “Alex” Rowe, age 16, was welcomed into the eternal loving arms of the Lord on November 12, 2009. She was also welcomed by her grandfathers, Clyde Hickle and James Rowe, who preceded her in death. Alex loved music and being read to and was happiest when she was outside on walks with the sun shining on her beautiful face. Alex touched the lives of many and will especially be missed by her loving parents, Barbara (Patrick) Losacco and John Rowe; siblings, Meredith and Chase Rowe, Michael and Haley Losacco; grandmothers, JoAnn Hickle and Sheila Rowe; aunts, Diane (Jerry) McKenzie, Deborah (James) Ferrell and Susan (Hobart) Griset, Ann (Doug) Boise and Kate (Pete) Vanderbrook; uncles, Bill (Brenda) Rowe, Frank (Anne) Rowe and Ed Rowe; cousins, Stephan, Chris, Heather and Brent McKenzie, Melissa (Jorge) Guerra, Ethan Guerra, Chris Ferrell, Aaron Griset, Kellie (Ricky) Crosby, Brian (Jennifer) Griset, Josie, Mattie and Bella Crosby; and her faithful friend Casey (under the bed). Family will receive friends 6-8pm Friday, November 13, 2009 and 9-10am Saturday at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230 where services will begin at 10am Saturday; Rev. Tim Swanson and Rev. Russ Clark, officiating; interment Green Lawn Cemetery. Alex’s family is so very grateful for all of the loving care provided by the staff of Nationwide Children’s Hospital. And special love goes to her home nurses, Sharon, Portia, Debbie, Nancy, Mary, Judy, Kelly and Randy and so many others who have helped over the years.
