Alice Faye Mullins

Alice Faye Mullins, age 73 of Columbus, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010. Alice was born and raised in southern Ohio, daughter of the late Irvin and Lovena Ford. Also preceded in death by 4 siblings. Upon graduating high school, Alice went onto graduate from Franklin University and began a long career working and later retiring from DSCC. Alice was a very spiritual woman who enjoyed religious music. She was a longtime devoted member of Shiloh Baptist Church and worked diligently with their Saturday Lunch Program. She also enjoyed doing arts and crafts, particularly ceramics, but most of all, Alice enjoyed the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed by her sons, Orlando and Brian (Juanita) Mullins; grandchildren, Brianna, Brian, Brittany, and Brandon Mullins; great grandson, Xavier Holmes; siblings, Mary Logan, Clemevest Anderson, Dorothy Smith, Joyce Anderson, Clarissa Tayim, Rev. Lowell Ford, Rev. Roger Ford, and Steven Ford; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Friday, June 4, 2010 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where family will receive friends from 12 P.M. until time of service. Interment Northlawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Saturday Lunch Program at Shiloh Baptist Church, 720 Mt. Vernon Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43203.
