Alice Floyd Myers

Alice F. Myers, age 88, passed away Friday, August 26, 2016. Alice was born on February 10, 1928 in Cornwall, Virginia to the late Robert and Julia (Hartless) Floyd. Alice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed gardening and taking walks and loved doing crossword puzzles. Alice was a lifelong member of St. Luke Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Myers; siblings, Earl Floyd, Gladys Little, Bonnie Landefeld, Mildred Stickley, William Floyd and Louise Weber; great-granddaughter, Ellie Kathryn; and great-grandson, T.J. She will be greatly missed by her sons, Mike (Kathi) Myers, Jack (Sue) Myers Jr., Timothy (Linda) Myers; daughters, Gale Susan (Charles) Dunlap and Sherri (Doug) Fraser; grandchildren, Michael Myers Jr., Jennifer Johnson, Christy Vance, Jodi Oakman, Allison Dunlap, Tonia Wiles, Jill Myers, Stephanie Alley, Mindy Tisone, Andrew Fraser, Adam Fraser and Cameron Fraser; great-grandchildren, Jason, Zachary, Jared, Kayla, Eli, Austin, Ashton, Bella, Bailey, Lindzi, Jack, Justin, Mya, Michael III, Wyatt and Charlie; great-great-granddaughter, Brooklynn; and siblings, Meta Loudermilk, Magdalene Traster, Eula Wade and Peggy Blankenship. Family will receive friends 4-7 PM on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 East Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230. Funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, September 2, 2016 at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 4456 Morse Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230. Interment at Mifflin Cemetery, Gahanna, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church.
