Allyson "Ally" McDaniel, 39, passed away unexpectedly on June 11. She is survived by her loving wife and partner of many years, Ellen Armstrong. Born and raised in Columbus, Ally built a strong community of friends and allies. She was a reliable and beloved friend, colleague, and partner. Her natural gift for caretaking encouraged her to pursue a degree in the mental health field.
Ally was a dedicated friend that would always answer a midnight call. She would drop everything to pet a friendly dog. Ally was a collector of all things interesting, constantly creating things for her friends and family. In honor of Ally, take good care of yourself today.
