Alvin Joseph "AJ" Glover

Alvin Joseph (AJ) Glover, age 15, of Hilliard, died on Saturday, April 3, 2021. AJ was born on October 20, 2005 in Columbus, OH, the son of Alvin Michael and Suzanne (Connerty) Glover. He attended Hilliard Davidson High School and was a freshman. There he was involved in many activities like baseball, swim, and football. He played French horn in band. He was on the student council and was a friend to many. AJ was a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 200 as Assistant Senior Patrol Leader and Troop Chaplain. He reached the rank of Life Scout and was working toward earning his Eagle rank. AJ was a member of Cypress Dublin Wesleyan Church where he taught 3rd and 4th graders in Kids Ministry. He was also active in his youth group, United. Most weekends you would find AJ inviting and bringing friends to learn more about following God. Galatians 2:20 was his favorite verse. AJ is survived by his parents Mike and Suzanne of Hilliard; his two sisters Kayla Daberkow and Lily Glover. He also leaves his paternal grandmother, Patricia Glover of New Matamoras, OH. AJ is surrounded with many aunts, uncles and cousins. AJ was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Alvin S. Glover and maternal grandparents, Frank Connerty and Nancy Connerty Banios. AJ's family will receive family and friends from 5-8 pm Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Cypress Wesleyan Church, 377 Alton Darby Creek Road, Galloway, OH where A Celebration of Life Service will be held 7:00 pm Wednesday, April 7, 2021. Private interment later in New York. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Youth Ministry at Cypress Dublin Church, 7055 Avery Road, Dublin, OH 43017, in AJ's memory.
