

Amy was born on August 22, 1972 to Chuck and Judi Fox in Alpena, Michigan. She grew up in Holland, OH and graduated from Springfield High School class of ’90. After high school, she attended Bowling Green University and graduated in 1994 with a B.A. in Sociology. After college she moved to Columbus where she most recently worked at Sports Medicine Grant. On February 2, 2002 she met Mr. Jeremy McLaughlin, on October 31, 2002 He proposed to her. A year later they were married on October, 4, 2003, and they celebrated over seven years together before her passing. Amy was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and daughter; she adored her husband and children. Amy would call home and talk to her parents every day, usually starting off with the phrase; “I have a quick question.” She enjoyed baking at Christmas and in the summertime a Frozen Margarita, or an Italian ice. But in her quiet time she found solace in reading, and writing poetry or Journaling. Amy through her life was a caring and compassionate lady who touched many lives and helped so many without praise or compensation. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Her survivors include her husband Jeremy; children Abigail, and Nathan; parents Chuck and Judi Fox; brother Todd (Veronica) Fox; Mother in law Donna McLaughlin; father in law Donald (Charlene) McLaughlin; She is also survived by two brothers in law, one sister in law, three nieces and three nephews, and grandmother Margaret Martinson.
The family will be receiving friends at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. on Sunday from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday December 20, 2010 at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Mifflin Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to her Children’s college fund in care of the Ohio Tuition Trust Authority, and the American Cancer Society.
