Anita Sue Siefert, died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, July 31st, 2010, just a few steps from the beach, the place outside of her Gahanna home she loved most. Anita was a proud, loving and protective mother of four boys, John, Stephen, Patrick and William; compassionate grandmother to her only grandchild, James; sister to her two wonderful siblings, Amy and Liz; daughter to her incredible mother, Gloria; and a vivacious art teacher to hundreds at Holy Spirit School. Most importantly, she has been for the past 25 years, and forever will be, her husband Steve’s soul mate. Ever watchful and attentive to her family’s needs and actions, Anita joins her father Al, and brother David, as they watch over their family each and every day. Anita put her touch on everything and everyone. She was the glue that pulled everyone to her and held everyone together. Among her many talents and artistic abilities, she will best be remembered for what she did best and better than anyone before or after her, she was the best darn mother we’ll ever know! She left behind her in these all-too-short 48 years an impressive and eternal legacy; a legacy that has left a vast multitude of memories and stories, a legacy that has truly touched countless lives. Memorial Mass will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 4383 E. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43213.
