Anna V. "Irene" Andrews

Anna V. “Irene” Andrews, age 86, joined her beloved spouse, Ralph E. Andrews (deceased) on July 7, 2011. She is survived by her only son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Ginnie Andrews. She will be missed by grandson, Justin Andrews and spouse Priya, as well as her great grandson, Tej Andrews. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Steffie Radik; niece and nephew, MaryBeth (Scott) Young and Randy (Shelly) Radik and their children. Others that will mourn her passing are nieces, Anita Moran, Peggy (Rodney) Meijer, and their offspring. Irene was a loving wife and mother, living most of her married life in Neff’s and Bellaire, Ohio. She was a member of Bellaire Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School. She was also an avid volunteer at Bellaire City Hospital as a Gray Lady, as well as for fundraising events such as the gift shop and the Heart Fund Ball. Other interests included Garden Club and Canasta Club. Her love of flowers was a lifelong interest. The home was her domain, impeccably maintained and allowed her to be a most gracious hostess at parties held for friends and family. Irene lived the last 16 years of her life sharing a home with her son and family in Columbus, Ohio. She will be buried beside her husband of almost 50 years in a private ceremony at Belmont County Memorial Park, Bellaire, Ohio. Private arrangements for the family are being made by the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel. Please remember Irene in your prayers and know that she is now in the place that her heart desired.
