Anna E. Cox

A funeral service for Anna Elizabeth Morehouse Cox will be held Monday March 14, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home with interment in Wilson Cemetery, Pastor Robert McDonald officiating.

She was born in Franklin Twp in Licking County on July 9, 1922 to the late Cassius Holbert and Anna Amelia (Clark) Morehouse. She died March 9, 2011 in Newark.

Anna liked to quilt and can her own food and play bingo. She is preceded in death by her husband William Everett Cox, children David Leo, Everett Eugene, Bonnie Elizabeth Cox, Anna Francis, Patricia Darlene Cox, and Anna Amilia Cox-Shepard. Brothers and sisters John, Henry, Bill, Preston Morehouse; Ester Hamilton-Roberts, Margarett Morehouse-Blanchett, and Bonnie Moregouse-Harris.

She is survived by her son and daughters-in-law Bill (June) Cox, Mark (Mary) (Punkin) Cox; daughters and sons-in-law Mary (Alex) Gesiorski of Chicago, Ill, Virginia (Oradean) Wickliffe, Hilda Cox and Joe Schimpf of TN, Judy Allen and Harold Fry, Suzie and Leroy White, and Betty Blackford of Ohio, daughter-in-law Sandy Cox of WV; 34 grandchildren, 92 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
