Anna Elizabeth Williams

Anna Elizabeth Williams, born in 1917 and celebrating her 100th birthday on September 12, 2017, passed away at her home, family by her side, on September 17, 2017. Born in Columbus, Ohio to the late James Ora and Mary (Blevins) Martin, one of ten children, all of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her Husband George T. Williams in 1993, son George "Tom" Williams, Jr, and granddaughter Tamara K. Brockmeyer.

Anna was an amazingly healthy woman her whole life. Family was her life and she enjoyed countless gatherings with loved ones of five generations. She worked for a time at Morehouse Fashions downtown, and later at Abbott Labs.

She is survived by daughter Joyce Ann (Robert) Brockmeyer; daughter-in-law Donna Williams; 5 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 17 great great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 4-7PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, where a funeral service will be held Friday at 11AM with Pastor Patrick Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mount Carmel Hospice at 6150 E. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43213.
