Anne B. Kauffman

Anne B. Kauffman, 98, resident at Kendal of Granville, passed away May 12, 2018. Born on April 2. 1920 in Columbus to the late Philip and Amy (Jones) Burgess, she was also preceded in death by her brother Philip, Jr., and her husband 0f 62 years, Benton "Benny" Fair Kauffman in 2008. Anne attended Dennison University and was a graduate of The Ohio State University, where she began her 75 year membership with Kappa Alpha Theta, of which she was very proud. She was a patron of the Columbus Art Museum and Franklin Park Conservatory. She is survived by children Benton F. (Dianne) Kauffman, Jr., Patricia K. (Bob) Strickland and Margaret (Philip) Connors; grandchildren Benton F. (Tamara) Kauffman III, Amy K. Battinelli, George B. (Meredith) Kauffman, Philip A. Kauffman, Katherine S. (Kevin) Eichhorn, Jeffrey S. (Kelly) Strickland, Erin C. (Salvatore) Tromonda, Michael J. (Karley) Connors, and J. Patrick Connors; step grandchildren Amy H. (Jamie) Pirkey and Erica H. (Rob) Elliott; 20 great and seven step great grandchildren. Family will receive friends at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Granville, 107 E Broadway on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 12:30 PM with a funeral at 1PM, the Rev. John Kauffman officiant. Private burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery.
