

Anne Rose, age 76, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018. She was a survivor of Breast, Colon, and Kidney cancers before losing the fight to Bladder cancer. She was born on December 15, 1941 in Swindon, Wiltshire, England to the late William Thomas Werrell and Frances Pearl Hitchman Fox Werrell. She retired from JCPenney at Town and Country. She enjoyed her monthly JCPenney luncheons with her retired co-workers. She loved and never missed an opportunity to root and cheer for The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds and Bengals, and Tiger Woods. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Rose USAF MSgt; brother, David Werrell; brothers in-law, William Rose, and Benjamin Rose; and sister in-law, Gertrude (Raymond) Morrow. She is survived by her children, Karin, Sharin, James, William (Robin McGuire-Rose), and Lynne; granddaughters, Alexis and Sabrina; grandson, Cory (Bethany); great grandson, Luca; siblings, Michael Werrell, Pauline Weightman, Peter (Wendy) Werrell, Brian (Jackie) Werrell, Celia Gibson, Carole Sole, Gillian (Terry) Townsend, Carol (Clive) Davies, and Richard (Sarah Hicks) Werrell; sisters in-law, Pat Werrell, Mary K. Rose, Glenda Rose, and Gloria (Fred) Foss; and countless nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 11:00AM-1:00PM with funeral service to follow at 1:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 East Livingston Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43232. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
