Annette M Rex

Annette Michelle Rex of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Canton, Ohio had a Sunrise date of August 16, 1947. She transitioned from this earth on the Sunset date of February 27, 2017 to be with our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus after a long and courageous battle against cancer. She is preceded in death by her father, Michael Rex, stepdad, Joseph Ferko, sister, Donna Jean Rex, and her mother, Filomena Rex Ferko. She is survived by two sisters, Faye Szymanski of Paradise, Texas, and Rosemary (Paul) O'Neil of East Canton, Ohio. Additionally, a special cousin, Roseanne Yarnovich of Columbus, Ohio, two special nephews, Mike Szymanski of Mesa, California, and P. Derek O'Neil of Dallas, Texas, also a very special friend, Linda C Payne for nearly 40 years, numerous nieces, nephews and friends from many walks of life (tennis, bridge club, the Lunch Bunch, and neighbors). Annette retired in 2008 as an executive secretary for The House of Representatives at the Ohio Statehouse, Columbus, Ohio. The family extends thanks to all who visited, sent cards and flowers, called her on the phone, and/or attended to Annette's care, needs and wishes during this period of her journey. A small memorial will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 3-6PM at The Panera Bread Community Room located in the Olentangy Plaza, 875 Bethel Road for family and friends to come together and celebrate Annette's life.
