Barbara Jean Chick, 76 of Columbus, died May 20, 2013. She was born September 14, 1936 in New Carlisle, OH to the late Hugh and Jessie (Smith) Brown. She was a graduate of Oakhill High School, Oakhill, OH and achieved her dream of be coming an LPN. She was a member and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post #9857 and enjoyed birding, crafts and RV traveling. She is survived by Carl, her loving husband of 54 years, siblings Illa, Rick (Carol), Nancy (Terry), and Cindy (Chuck), children Carla E. Zinkon, Sabrina L. (Joe) Gill, Thomas B. (Cissy) Chick and Melanie S. Davis, grandchildren Yancey (Rose) Zinkon, Grant (Jennifer) Zinkon, Stephanie (Travis) Kraft, Ami (Michael) Berkemeier, Benjamin Busic, Andrea (Samuel) Rogers and Nicole Davis, 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 PM and Saturday from 12 PM until time of service at 2 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. .
