Barbara Sue Parker Drosos

Barbara Sue Parker Drosos, age 72 of Columbus, passed away peacefully Monday, April 30, 2012. Barbara was born and raised in Columbus, daughter of Lillith Gordon and the late Harry Parker. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Bud and Tommy Parker and sister, Sandra Wheeler. Barbara always surrounded herself with loving family and friends who cherished and rejoiced her. She was a giving and strong woman who never wanted for herself which made her so special beyond words. She never kept acquaintances for long, as she transformed many friends into family. She enjoyed playing a variety of card games, loved taking cruises, and family gatherings. She was the core of her family and will be loved always and missed greatly. She leaves behind her children, Chuck (Lisa) Drosos, Helen “Sissy” Kiser, David (Sherri) Drosos, Bill (Kathy) Drosos, Sherri (Chris) Brunner, and Terri (Greg) Gatterdam; father of her children, William Drosos; grandchildren, Kristin, April, Billy, Toni, Kristina, Heather, Megan, Sarah, and Ashleigh; 4 great grandchildren; mother, Lillith Gordon; brothers, Skeet, Paul and Chuck Parker; sister, Ruth Crosby; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 4 P.M. Thursday, May 3, 2012 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. where family will receive friends from 1 P.M. until time of service.
