Barbara Jean Manning

Barbara "Bobbi" Manning, 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 8, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 31, 1940 in Hackensack, New Jersey. She was a graduate of Thorpe Secretarial School and worked for many years as a secretary for several schools and government offices. Bobbi loved to travel and enjoyed going to the casino, doing crossword puzzles, watching gameshows, listening to Elvis, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, mother, Jean (Charles) Travaglio and father, Leroy DeSanto; and beloved husband of 41 years, Jerry Manning. Bobbi is survived by her children, Jerry (Carol) Manning, Jeannie Troyan, Bill (Diane) Manning; grandchildren, Bobby, Brian, Justin, Nick (Laura), Andy, Ashley, Kenny, and Dani; great-grandchildren, Jerry and Serenity; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2019 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, with a prayer service at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3730 Broadway.
