Barbara J. Stewart

Barbara was a Graduate of Bexley High School. She had worked for the Lazarus Co in her youth and went on to hold various positions at several companies eventually retiring from the State of Ohio, Department of Development. She was an avid gardener and achieved the designation of Master Gardener and often brought beautiful arrangements to the Governor's Office. Barbara was a big Buckeye's fan.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Beverly Hibbler; and brother, Ed Gray

She is survived by her children, Jill Peck, Susan (Ron) O'Brien, Ed Stewart; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a brother Ken Gray.

She was a strong, hard working woman who was dearly loved by her family.

Family will receive friends on Monday February 19, 2018 from 11am-12pm at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230; where a service will begin at 12pm. Interment to follow at Mifflin Cemetery. Pastor Kerry Davis to officiate.

Barbara's family would like to thank the caring staff at Arlington Court, especially Melinda and Cheryl, for all the care and attention she received.
