Barbara Lucille Summerfield

In addition to her parents, Gerald C. and Charlotte L. (Dunn) Summerfield, she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Hamm; children Charlotte Sheridan, Richard Gore, and Terry Gore; grandson Michael Blosser; and granddaughter Angelena Blosser.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Paul (Debby) Gore of Logan, OH, and Barbara (Ned) Mathias of Bremen, OH; grandchildren Paul Sheridan, Marsha Gore Lesjak, Eddie Gore, Amber Gore, Terri Kelsall, Mackenzie Gore, Travis Blosser, Ben Mathias, Nick Mathias, Alexandra Dombrosky, and Erika Mathias; as well as many loved great-grandchildren; and loved caregiver Helen Guffy, who took such wonderful care of Barbara.

Barbara was a lover of the outdoors and nature. In her free time, she enjoyed reading her Bible, and always found joy in spending time with family.

After starting a family of her own, Barbara earned her degree and started her career in Medical Insurance, helping people file medical claims.

Barbara's family will receive friends 6-8 pm on Friday, May 14, 2021 at SCHOEDINGER DUBLIN, 5980 Perimeter Dr, Dublin, OH 43017. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, all attendees will be required to wear masks inside the building. A funeral service will take place at 10am the following morning at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43213.
