Barbara B Taylor

Barbara Brown Taylor, born August 20, 1925 was taken home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dodo and Bo Frank Brown; brother (wife), Ted and Ruth Brown; son, Lodge Taylor; and husband, Henry Taylor. Barbara is survived by daughter-in-law, Shelley Taylor; son, Clay Taylor; and daughters, Nancy (Mike) Ramsey and Lucy Champlin; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sister, Nancylu Sarver; sisters-in-law, Joan Taylor and Ann Baker; cousin-in-law, Cam (Joyce) Taylor and their families. Barbara enjoyed serving others, whether it was her family, friends or organizations. She gave freely of herself and will be greatly missed. Thanks to all those who knew her and enriched her life. Calling hours will be held 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna. A celebration of her life will be held on September 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Taylor Mansion, 1400 E. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43215. We hope family and friends will attend this gathering. Lunch will be served. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Children's Hospital, The Ronald McDonald House, or the charity of your choice.
