Barbara Jo Wolf

Barbara Jo Wolf, age 70, born August 25, 1939 in Kenton, Ohio to the late George and Mary (Tow) Elsasser, passed away Monday, April 19, 2010 in Columbus. Barbara grew up in Mt. Victory where she graduated from High School in 1957. She married her husband, Roderick in 1961. They made their home in Gahanna in 1968. Barbara was a former employee of Borden Dairy for 17 years. She retired in 2002 from Romanoff Electric. Barbara was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed the activities of her children and grandchildren. She also had a passion for Bingo. Preceded in death by her husband, Roderick Wolf; several aunts, uncles, and one cousin. Barbara is survived by her son, Michael Todd Wolf; daughters, Mary Beth (Steve) Smith and Mindy (Tim) Anthony; grandchildren, Samuel Roderick and Abigail Leigh Wolf, Hannah Elizabeth and Olivia Anne Smith, Jordan Paul and Andrew Michael Anthony; sister, Lois (John) Ansley; brother, Thomas (Kathy) Elsasser; father-in-law, Junior Chamberlin; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Jack and Joyce Wolf, Jerry Chamberlin, and Jean Ann Chamberlin. Barbara also leaves several nieces, nephews, many caring and close friends. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Thursday, April 22 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL1051 E. Johnstown RD. (at BEECHER RD) Gahanna, and 1-2 p.m. Friday, April 23 at the PRICE FUNERAL HOME 123 N. Main St., Kenton, where the Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Friday. Interment will follow at Grove Cemetery.
