Bernadette M Erwin

Bernadette “Bernie” Erwin, age 61, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025. She was born October 5, 1963, in Homestead, FL to the late Rene and Helen Plamondon. Bernie is survived by loving husband, of 36 years, Robert “Brad” Erwin, sons; Taylor Erwin, Kyle (Cindy) Erwin, grandchildren; Gabriel and Harper Erwin, siblings; Rene (Melanie) Plamondon Jr., Helen Pollock, and Celeste Plamondon, sister-in-law, Angela Erwin, brothers-in-laws; Mark Erwin, and Chester (Casey) Morris, and nieces; Sydney, Josephine and Skylin, along with other dear family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by, grandson, Asher Bradley Erwin.

Bernie was raised in Columbus, Ohio, and her unwavering devotion to the Buckeyes was known to everyone who met her, she never missed a chance to cheer them on. A deeply devoted wife and mother, her love for her family was the foundation of her life. Known as the life of the party, Bernie brought joy and laughter wherever she went, whether at a cookout, a holiday gathering, or any celebration, her vibrant energy lit up the room and made everyone feel welcome. She took great pride in her appearance, always sporting freshly painted nails in her signature shade of red.
