Beth Dickson

Beth went to her final tailgate, called by the Lord, on January 3. Elizabeth Ann Dickson was born in Mt. Gilead hospital and graduated from Cardington high school where she was the head cheerleader. She earned her nursing degree, and for 30 years "OR Beth" ran the show in the operating room at OSU hospital. She was the charge nurse until she retired in 2006. Beth loved the Buckeyes and traveled to many football games. She was an active member at the Linworth United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her new grandsons. Beth was preceded in death by her mother, Miriam and father, John. She is survived by sons, John and his wife, Hai Yen, as well as Michael and his wife, Hilary; her grandsons, Isaiah and Graham; sister, Mary Lou; brother, Jeff (Bobbi) and her ex-husband, Dave (Gail). In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations in her name be made to CUREPSP.ORG. Family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL 6699 N. High St. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Linworth UMC, 7070 Bent Tree Blvd. Private interment at a later date in Cardington, Ohio.
