Betty A. Cahill

Betty Anna Cahill (nee Point), age 83, of Grove City, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. She was born February 26, 1931 in the Village of Ottawa, Putnam County, Ohio to the late John and Nola (Strong) Point. Betty retired from F and R Lazarus, downtown Columbus. Betty was also preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 66 years, James M. Cahill, Sr. Also preceding her in death were her siblings, Mary Point, Robert Point, Lois "Mickey" Fugate and Judy Point. She is survived by her children, James (Connie) Cahill, Jr., Patricia (Kenneth) Rutherford, and Kelly (Stephen) D'Ippolito; grandchildren, Tricia Bully, James (Tara) Cahill, III, Joseph (Mandy) Cahill, Anthony (Tessa) D'Ippolito, and Carmen D'Ippolito; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Family will welcome friends 5-8pm Friday, January 23, 2015 at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway Grove City where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 11am; Pastoral Minister Marti Hurd officiating.
