Betty Eileen Edwards

Betty Eileen Edwards, age 99, of Grove City, passed away Friday, September 15, 2017. She was born April 6, 1918 in Wellston, Ohio to the late John and Effie (Hunter) Stephens. She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Grove City. Betty loved raising orchids and enjoyed watching Cincinnati Reds baseball and rolling her buckeyes during Ohio State football games. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Roland L. Edwards and 10 brothers and sisters. Betty is survived by her children, Cheryl (Michael) Kahn and Richard (Cynthia) Edwards; grandchildren, Dennese (Dave) Armbruster, Farrah (Cory) West, Jerid Roland Edwards, Angela Robertson, and Christine Robertson; and great- grandchildren, Jacob Warner, Isabel West, Braeden Armbruster, and Ramsey Armbruster. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the SCHOEDINGER NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Tolar officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
