Betty Louise Karnap

On November 7, 2023, Betty Louise Karnap (Betty Lou) passed at The Inn at Winchester Trail in Canal Winchester, Ohio. Betty was a longtime former resident of Upper Arlington and died at 94 years old. Born December 8, 1928 in Sciotoville, Ohio. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Frances Craycraft of Sciotoville, Ohio. Along with her husband, Charles C Karnap of 49 years and daughter, Susan E Hopkins (Karnap). Betty is survived by son, Douglas (Beckie) Karnap of Columbus, Ohio; son-in-law, Bill (Jan) Hopkins of Hilliard, Ohio; and grandchildren, Erich (Cheryl) Hopkins of West Liberty Ohio, Sarah (James) Klamfoth of Canal Winchester Ohio, Jeremy Karnap of Tucson Arizona, Joshua Karnap of Columbus Ohio, Jason (Lisa) Green of Reynoldsburg Ohio and Jennifer (Brian) Righter of Hilliard Ohio; great grandchildren, Jaden and Kylie Hopkins, Dalton and Knox Klamfoth, Braxton and Hailey Karnap, Kaetlin and Robert Bowling, and Alyssa and Colton Righter.

Betty enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved her trips to Arizona. She traveled the world but her favorite place was with Charlie, visiting all the islands of Hawaii year after year. Her funny personality and quick witted sense of humor will truly be missed. Betty touched every person she spoke with.

The immediate family will be having a graveside burial ceremony at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg, OH at 11 A.M. Thursday, November 16, 2023.
