

Bobby R. Lawhorn, age 70, passed away on July 26, 2013 at The Laurels of Hilliard. He was born on August 22, 1942 in Olive Hill, KY to the late Lillian and Joshua Lawhorn. A veteran of the US Army, he was honorably discharged in 1962. A Welder, his skill was known as the ‘Cadillac of Welders’. He worked for many different companies, including GM Oldsmobile in Michigan, CVI in Hilliard, and Rolls Royce in Mt. Vernon. He retired from Rolls Royce in 2006. He is survived by his loving sons, Brian (Brittany Leidinger) Lawhorn, Brad (Kaylin) Lawhorn, Chuck (Rene) Badgley and Ken (Heather) Badgley; grandchildren Brayden Lawhorn, Olivia, Camryn, Eva and Charli Badgley, Gabrielle and Delaney Badgley; sister Barbara Butler; nieces Vickie (Scott) Wells and Sabrina Robbins; nephew Charlie Butler. Family will receive friends from 12 Noon to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High Street in Worthington, where his Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart or American Stoke Association in his memory.
