

Bonnie H. Nye, 82, of Williamsport, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 30, 1931 in Union County, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Bertha (Hamilton) Harris. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Nye; sons, Charles Earl and Eddie Fullen; sister, Joann Martin; and grandsons, Donny Dickerson and Gary Mabra;
Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Virginia Wiggins; son, Bill (Kim) Fullen; granddaughters, Melissa Fullen, Shawna Fullen, Jeanette (Drew) Nutter, Lela Yates, Heather Fullen and Ashley (Jeff) Nadeau; grandson, Billy Fullen; great-grandchildren, Mikala, Donny, Connor, Annie, Suellen, Kendall, Samantha, Lynnie, Aubree and Abbie; great-great-grandson, Cristan; nieces, Bertha (Steve) Holbrook, Barbara (Bob) Russell, Bonnie (Jim) Boyer and Beverly (Elvis) Largent; nephew, Pedro (Kelly) Martin; special great-nephew, Eddie Russell; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and special cat companions, Baby, Fritz, Jenga and Lou Lou.
Bonnie was known for being a great cook and had worked at the Wardell Party Home for many years preparing delicious meals for the diners. Many of her family members worked there also. Bonnie was kindhearted, caring and trusting. She enjoyed going for rides, watching grandson Billy play sports, watching the Price is Right on TV, working crossword puzzles, playing cards and appreciated a good glazed donut. Her positive attitude and her ability to always see the good in people will be greatly missed by her many friends and family.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
