Boyd L Applegate

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Queenie Applegate and his dear sister Floe Hull.

He is survived after 60 years by his loving wife, Alice Applegate; five children, Dale (Michelle), Jerry (Kelly), Tonia (Tony), Jeff, Christie (Eric); brother, Wilburn (Jenny) Applegate; two sisters, Agnes Hicks and Pat (Jack) Hobbs; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He is now building sidewalks for others gardening in Heaven's Kingdom. He was always a laborer working at Columbus Auto Parts for many years and laying concrete through his own company, Applegate and Son's. He was a huge OSU Buckeye fan. He loved being with family prior to becoming sick, playing cards, bingo, watching old westerns and going fishing. However, his biggest love was the Lord. He was a faithful member of North Park Church of Christ. He will be shining brightly at the north wall waiting for his family and friends. Steadfast and be ready.

Boyd's family will receive friends on Sunday, April 25, 2021 from 6-8pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTH, 5554 Karl Road. Private family time will be from 5pm-6pm. There will be a private family funeral service held. Guests are respectfully asked to wear a mask and attendance will be monitored to ensure safety for everyone attending. Interment at Riverside Cemetery. Officiant Pastor Steve Petty.
