I remember my boy when we was just kids in School. We hung out pretty much every day after school playing basketball with Brian Swearingen, Luke Pettit, Larry Love and myself. We played basketball a lot When We Were Young outside in front of Brian's house. Or at Lukes. We went to Finland together came pretty close we both were in chess club believe it or not LOL. Brian was my friend and he was also the first person to ever showed me how to play chess. Brian was crazy intelligent very smart hilarious and one of the kindest people I've ever known. I consider him a close friend and I'm sad that he is gone. I'm sorry I missed everything because when we got older I left to go in the military and I didn't come back home until just a couple years ago I didn't even know that you were gone. I've lost way too many friends in the Marine Corps with me and now when I come home I find this out. You were awesome bro we had some good talks in the Summers, you looked out for me whenever you could and I will always cherish our friendship bro. I miss you making us all laugh and your sense of humor. I hope that you are looking down and you are proud of me. You and I went down similar roads there for a while and I'm sorry I left but I had to I had to get my life together. I think about you all the time bro every time I go by your mom's on my way to work every time I drive by Luke's old house. I miss you bro you were definitely taken too soon. Please watch over me and keep me safe keep all of us safe. Thank you for your friendship and all the great memories I have until I see you again bro.

I can’t believe it’s been 4 years since you left us. I know that you are watching over us. Please give us all our own little sign that you’re still here. Especially mom, April, Lori and Carolyn. Please make sure that Carolyn and the baby are healthy and safe. I love and miss you so much.

I remember clowning w this dude everyday. We went to elementary all the way to high school together. He was also 1 of a few people I could actually have an intelligent conversation with. Keep making everyone laugh!!

Brian I've only known you a short while and in that time you have touched my heart, you was a great guy with a big heart, you loved on every body, hugs was passed out like candy...  That day A few weeks back when I drove you and your Uncle Bill around for the parts to your van was such a fun day for me,  I can't remember the last time I've laughed so much.... Inside joke, I want to thank you for finally buying me a Pepsi instead of that Hot R.C Cola like before, lol, you know what I'm talking about... Anyway  thank you for all the love, hugs, and laughs...  P.S, Thank you for always being there for Becki, you mean alot to her, so please still watch over her...

It's extremely sad to realize that my loving grandson has been taken. He expressed his love to me in small ways that added much joy and comfort to my soul. His heart was full of love that he freely gave to all. We will miss him more than words can express.

I don't know how I'm supposed to say good bye to you bud. When ever I was upset or just needed to talk I could  always count on you now IDK what to do with out you. You where my best friend  I miss you like crazy already I really wish this was a bad dream I could wake up from and you would still be here I will never forget you. May God rest his soul, my great friend Brian was ready 4 change in his life.. the good Lord took his hand and wanted him to come now..
I know God has a special place for him.. he is such a great guy.. we met way back in 2nd grade where we became close pals and until this day nothing changed since!
This is hard news for me to swallow but I know he is in good hands now, in heaven!
Wish I could tell him how great of a friend he was.. loyal and honest and ready to succeed in all aspects of life!
