Bruce Roberts

David Bruce Roberts, age 58 of Gahanna, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013. Bruce was born and raised in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, son of Jean Roberts and the late Clark Roberts. Bruce graduated from Point Pleasant High School and then went on to earn his bachelors degree from Glenville State College, West Virginia. Bruce was employed by American Electric Power for the past 37 years. He was a very outgoing and intelligent man who took much pride in his work and family. Bruce was an avid Reds fan, along with being a collector of many things including antiques. Bruce will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 37 years, Judith Roberts; children, Amy N. and Eric (Morgan) Roberts; granddaughter, Raylyn Renee Roberts; mother, Jean Roberts; sister, Cindy (Faron) Blessing; nephews, Brandon (Rhastina) and Parker Blessing; great aunt, Genevieve Crandall; and many other extended family and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Thursday, June 6, 2013 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., where family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. Wednesday.
