Carl Lee Barker

He was born on March 6, 1943, to the late Ralph and Esther Barker. Carl was preceded in death by his brother, John Barker and niece, Nikki Turner.

Carl leaves his loving wife of 36 years, Lynn Bruhn Barker; his five children, Carl Jr., Nathan (Leslie), Nickolas (Debbie), Reina Barker, and Rhonda (Kevin) Schiller; grandchildren, Michael (Jenna), Matthew, Mitchell, Madalyn, Louis, Jace, Cameron, Braden, McKenzie, Katelyn, and Tyler; his mother and father-in-law, Patricia and Robert Bruhn of St. Clairsville; the best sister-in-law, Pamela Bruhn of Blacklick; sister-in-law, Jane Barker; nephew, Michael (Tina) Barker; and will be sadly missed by his awesome neighbors and friends.

Carl served four years in the U.S. Army. He retired from Trans World Airlines after 37 years of service and 10 years at Port Columbus Airfield Maintenance. He was an avid OSU, Pittsburgh Steelers, and NASCAR fan. He enjoyed his yardwork, gardening, and the beach.

Arrangements were entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230 where a visitation will take place on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 1-4pm. Family and friends will gather again on Monday at 11am for a funeral service, followed by interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
