Carl Orin Knapp

Carl "Bud" Knapp Jr., age 85, died Wednesday March 25, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Kathleen M. Knapp, parents; Carl and Florence Knapp Sr. , brother; Robert Knapp, Carl "Buster" Knapp IV. Carl is survived by his children; Kathy Ann Knapp, Karin Knapp, Carl O. (Jennifer) Knapp III, Kevin (Sherri) Knapp, Keith Knapp; grandchildren, Justin Young, Kesha (John) DiNaro, Ki Knapp, Amber (Ryan) Hagenbuch, Jeremy (Fiance` Mimi Berg) Knapp, Stacey (Adam) Denninger; great-grandchildren, Julian Young, Gwenyth Knapp, Emma Young, Cynthia Knapp, Violet, Lila, Lily Denninger, Nora, Maddon Hagenbuch and Malik Knapp, siblings; Jack (Donna) Knapp, Gloria Buzzard, Donna Kay (Lonnie) Aleshire and many nieces and nephews. Carl served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, retired after 35 years of service with the Borden Ice Cream Company. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and later in life fish, camp and also wood work. Visitation will be held on Sunday March 29, 2015 from 2-4pm at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway where funeral service will be held on Monday March 30, 2015 at 10 am. Interment will be at Grove City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
