He was born in Columbus Ohio on December 19th, 1979. Carlos graduated from Marion Franklin High School in 1999 going on to receive his degree in finance from the University of Toledo.
Carlos returned to Columbus to pursue various roles in leadership and project management before embracing his entrepreneurial spirit to embark on several business ventures. Carlos loved sports and was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Ohio State football fan who never missed an opportunity to tailgate. Carlos embraced and lived his life with no regrets and according to the words found in the serenity prayer. Carlos could often be found relaxing by a pool and exploring the city nightlife with friends or spending time with his family at his mom’s house, bringing his contagious energy to those around him. He never shied away from an opportunity to engage in (and win!) a healthy debate, loved fashion, interior design, enjoyed cooking and trying new restaurants.
He is survived by his father Carl; mother Lorri (Tony); children Holliday, Kiley and Kingston; brothers Lloyd (Kelly), Troy and Carl; sister Whitney; special friend Amanda Dunaway; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
The family will receive close friends and family at a celebration of Carlos’ life on Saturday January 7th from 4-8pm at J. Liu in Worthington, OH.
Arrangements entrusted to SCHOEDINGER MIDTOWN.
