Carol Fleming

Carol Ann Fleming, age 64 of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at her home. Carol was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of Shirley Cason and the late Eddie Neal Cason. She graduated from Eastmoor High School, Class of 1966 and soon after married her high school sweetheart, Stanley Fleming, and the two of them went on to begin their lives together. Carol retired from Toledo Scale after 27 years of service. Carol was a very strong-willed, hardworking woman who loved her family above all else. She enjoyed cooking, exercising, listening to music, and she also had the most beautiful smile. Preceded in death by her father, Eddie Neal Cason and grandparents, Bertha and James Cason. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 45 years, Stanley O. Fleming Sr.; mother, Shirley P. Cason; brother, Jerry Cason; children, Stanley O. Fleming Jr. and Leontyne L. Shinaul; grandchildren, Stanley O. III, Amethyst, Stanna and Stanten Fleming, and Shanice and Tiana Shinaul; and a host of nieces and nephews. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL.
