Carol Rodgers Hodson (Doc), age 79, a resident of Columbus, Ohio and Kona, Hawaii, died Wednesday, December 30, 2009. She attended Hanahau’oli School, was a graduate of Punahou School in Honolulu, Mount Vernon College in Washington D.C. and also attended the University of California at Berkley. She was a past volunteer at Hulihee Palace and a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Captain Cook, Hawaii. She traveled extensively throughout the world and loved New Zealand. She is survived by her husband Ian W. Bowman, children Morgan (Jeff) Johnston, Peter (Alyson) Hodson, Philip (Lynn) Hodson, Marcia (Greg) Korte. She was the beloved Poppa to ten grandchildren Parker, Paige, Kathryn, Charlie, James, Eric, Kelley, Caroline, Maya, and Jack. Private family services will be held.
