Carol "Obie" Oberst, age 83 of Columbus, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021. Carol was born and raised in Columbus, daughter of the late Clair and Cora Oberst. Also preceded in death by her sisters, Patricia Randall and Olive VanSchoik. Carol was in independent and self-sufficient woman. She was a graduate of The Ohio State University, owner of Obie's Owl, and was a long-time employee of LabCorp. She will be greatly missed by her brother, Robert B. Oberst; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, October 29, 2021, at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, 3225 Dublin Rd., Hilliard.
