

Born November 14, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to Harold and Velma Huling (both deceased), Carolyn grew up in Short Hills, New Jersey and was a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University.
Carolyn was married (m. 1954- d. 1972) to John P. Wenzelberger (deceased) and is survived by their three children, Anne (James) Ryan, Ellen (Dennis) Guzik, John (Andina) Wenzelberger Jr; four grandchildren, Jessica Guzik (partner Christian Milan), Joseph (Lais) Guzik, Kathleen Ryan, Joseph Ryan (partner Abby Wilkymacky); and great-granddaughter, Sophia Milan (siblings Jonathan and Theresa Milan).
Carolyn is also survived by her loving sister Eleanor Peirce of Short Hills, New Jersey (and her family).
Carolyn was a long-time resident of Worthington, Ohio where she raised her family. She became a licensed CPA once her children were grown and later built a meaningful career at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Columbus, Ohio, where she took pride in serving and supporting US military veterans.
Carolyn will always be fondly remembered by her relatives and friends. Whether it was a birthday, anniversary or personal milestone, she never failed to send a card or a handwritten note - always thoughtful, always heartfelt. Her kindness and attention to detail were lifelong trademarks that brought joy and comfort to those around her.
A private family service will be held in Columbus, Ohio and afterwards Carolyn will be laid to rest in New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
