Carrie was born in Newark, Ohio on October 19, 1916 to the late Harles Edward and Anna Mae (Warman) Boyer. She passed away at her residence on March 19, 2010 while surrounded by her family.
Carrie was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an ordained minister with the Prayer of Faith Temple, Inc.
Survivors include one daughter, Ruth (Dave) Wills of Newark; one sister, Virginia Boyer of Newark; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Bennett in 2002, one brother, and five sisters.
