Catherine was born on December 15, 1931 in Mt. Vernon, OH to the late Rollin and Clara Staats. She was preceded in death by brother, Ronald Staats. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Carl; daughters, Barbara (Terry) Carpanese, Mary (Gary) Brickell, Stephanie Belcher, Connie (Vernon) Holtz and Leesa (Jeff) Miley; brother, Eugene (Marilyn) Staats, sister-in-law, Jeri Staats; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a long-time member of the Grace Brethren Church who enjoyed traveling out-of-state to visit her family.
Friends may call Friday, June 20, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High Street, Worthington, OH where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 10 am. Pastor Jim Custer, officiating. Interment at Kingwood Memorial Park, Lewis Center, OH.
